How did 15 til come about?

Another filmmaker and the director never worked together before. So Jerome Fleming had an idea lets create something entirely brand new. Being that most writers are very protective of their content. So the idea of a film creators’ collective was created and over 15 filmmakers signed up.

The original idea of 15 til was to be a serious dealing with issues that are ongoing in the community. The Director has an interesting decision to make. With so many things that are going on in all communities around the world from Geo politics to certain communities not being able to drink clean water.

The original script was written and was shared with a small select few of the creators. The response was overwhelming and the enthusiasm was through the roof. Therein lies the problem the writer-director had. With so many creatives that had never worked together before and seeing the ideas fly out quicker than ice melts on a hot day. The director had to do something different

Change your mind to change theirs.

Even though the director loved the story he decided to pick another topic. Not to disenfranchise anyone but for cost. What can be made that would cost no one any money other than the gas to get to the location? Which was changed to the story you see above. The result did more than the director could have ever imagined. It got rid of everyone on the creative team who did not know how to pivot or accept the fuller view of the story.
